Fisheye lens photographs

Here are a few photographs that were taken with a fish-eye lens. I have decided to use the same type of technique for my music magazine because it's a psychedelic genre, which means fish-eye lens would go perfectly with the magazine I am creating. The clothes the artists are wearing indicate that psychedelic feel, especially the image below, where Mick Jagger is wearing a bright red bandanna, with scruffy bright coloured clothes and the image is taken in a middle of a field. All three of the images have a vintage feel, because of the effect. the first image has a sepia tone to it which makes it look like it was taken a long time ago. The photographs below perhaps would suit my magazine better because they are very bright and eye-catching and in my opinion very psychedelic.

Here are examples of album covers in which fish-eye lens photographs have been used. This is an example of two psychedelic rock bands, that were very popular in the peak of late 60's, early 70's. This supports my idea to include fish-eye lens photographs on my magazine double page spread and the contents page. To make sure my magazine is psychedelic, I will have to make sure to take accurate fish-eye lens photographs to prevent the magazine from looking dull. I will need to make it very bright and eye-catching, because that is what psychedelia is all about.
